Full Time Cycling Post in Belfast | Cycling Ulster

Belfast Community Sports Development Network (BCSDN) is the main Community Sports Development organisation in Belfast, working with Clubs, Community Groups and others across the city. The organisation currently employs Development Workers and Coaches to deliver events and crime diversion / health / community relations programmes in a variety of settings. Last year BCSDN had over 20,000 children and adults involved in their programmes.

BCSDN and Belfast City Council have created the following Active Communities posts through funding from Sport Northern Ireland. Active Communities is a Lottery investment programme that seeks to employ, deploy and train a network of sports coaches and physical activity leaders to deliver activities in community and club settings across Northern Ireland. Active Communities aims to increase participation in sport and physical recreation, especially among under-represented groups.

Active Communities posts are fixed-term contracts to 31st March 2015, subject to confirmation of funding.

BCSDN wish to appoint the following full-time and part-time Active Communities coaches:

AC12/012 ? Full-time Cycling Post - One Post

Full-time ? 37 hrs per week

Salary: NJC scale 4, points 18-21, currently ?17,161-?19,126

AC 12/004 ? Part-time Athletics Post ? One Post

Part time ? 18.5 hrs per week

Salary: NJC scale 4, points 18-21, currently ?17,161 - ?19,126 (pro rata)

These active communities? posts will be responsible for the delivery of a range of coaching programmes at various venues across Belfast. Candidates must be available to work a flexible work rota which will include evenings and weekends.
