Interview With Justified?s Erica Tazel

A couple of days ago I had the opportunity to interview the very talented and lovely Erica Tazel from Justified! It was a delight to get the chance to speak with Erica, who as I am sure you all know plays Rachel Brooks on the FX hit show. Tazel was very open and I learned so much about her. Rachelle: Can you tell me a little about how you landed the role of Rachel Brooks? Erica Tazel: The process began back in March of 2009. I got the normal call from my agent saying she had a great script and that the casting director wanted me to come in to do a pre-read, which is just you and the casting director. I walked in and thought maybe if they make her a rookie I would have a shot because there were lots of older women auditioning for role. I went in gave it my all with the line of thinking, that I was to young for the role.
