I preferred the Kaspersky because it had a smaller footprint. Norton just seemed to spread its files all over your computer. Pretty hefty files, too. Technically, they both offered the same level of protection with a few extra caveats thrown in for good measure by Kaspersky. I use Windows 8 now which has Defender built in. For now on my Windows laptop I just added Microsoft Security Essentials for free. I don't have much experience with Kapersky, but I know I don't like Norton at all. Back to top ?
